Jennifer Anderson – Pole Instructor/Director
Throughout her life, Jennifer has been passionate about dance and the beauty and emotion it conveys. In order for Jennifer to lead a healthy life filled with learning, activity, and experience, she prioritizes physical fitness and health. When exploring how to combine these two loves, she discovered aerial fitness.
Jennifer is a certified Pole Moves Level 3 Pole Fitness and Pole Dance instructor. Jennifer holds a master’s degree in education as well as a passion for educating young people. She believes you can build a body that can do amazing things if you follow good instructions, exercise effectively, and stay confident. This will add dimension and pleasure to your health and fitness goals.

Youth Pole, Pole Level 1 and 2, Pole Flow
Chelsea Brown – Instructor
Originally from Augusta, Georgia, Chelsea Brown moved to Atlanta and became exposed to all the styles of pole dancing there.
Chelsea is a student of the pole who has trained with Amy Hazel and Natasha Wang, two of the most legendary contemporary artists of the genre. After signing up for Semester At Sea, a study abroad program on a ship that visits over ten countries during four months, she was able to solidify her passion for pole. Studying abroad allowed her to take fun and interactive classes related to her biology major while also participating in pole classes in Vietnam, Japan, and China.
In almost two years, she became inspired to teach English in China, allowing her to pursue her passion for pole occasionally while traveling to surrounding Asian countries. Additionally, she studied aerial hoops and sling in China and fell in love with exotic pole dancing.
Currently, Chelsea is a pole teacher at Cirque Alaska and approaches each class with a blend of her own creative routines combined with those of the greats who inspire her every day to be better.

Jessica Alexander – Instructor
She has more than a decade of professional dancing experience, as well as experience training new dancers on the job, so she is well-suited for a flowing, freelance pole dance teaching style. Her passions include dance, music, and, of course, fashion! Besides being a dedicated wife and mother, she also maintains a career in sales.
Traveling to tropical islands is one of Jessica’s favorite pastimes. In fact, she considers Oahu a second home.

Melissa Clark- Instructor
As president of the Aurora Aerial Arts club at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, Melissa Clark began her aerial journey four years ago. Through aerial arts, she expanded her apparatuses to include Lyra, sling, and pole. The past few years have shown Melissa that she is passionate about teaching, and she is thrilled to be teaching here at Cirque Alaska!
Melissa, who is in her second year of veterinary school at CSU and UAF, is also studying aerial arts. She enjoys hiking, biking, yoga, and outdoor activities.
Melissa is extremely outgoing and welcomes all skill levels and experience levels.
