Their pole instructor at the studio is Helga Rock. Originally from Russia, she is a Certified Pole Dance instructor as well as a Pole Show competitor and performer. In 2010, she began her pole dancing career, and since then has traveled the world and taken workshops from world-famous pole dancers to improve her skills.
With her expertise in Russian Exotic Pole Dance, she blended elements on the ground and pole, making sexy transitions on the floor, crawling, slinking, and sliding, as well as body waves and hip rolls. Helga enjoys teaching because she enjoys watching her students progress and feeling proud when they succeed.
The studio maintains a 4.7-star rating on Google with students raving about the feeling of comfort they get from the classes and Helga’s encouragement. The studio offers parking at the back of the building. There is an entrance towards the end of Nimitz Street, just before Maunakea Street (before Kekaulike Street). Fit For a Goddess
At Fit For a Goddess you get to participate in pole dancing classes for both fun and fitness. The goal of Fit For a Goddess is to blend modern fitness methods with ancient moves to create a full body, mind, and spiritual workout. Women can discover their innate and divine feminine through this type of empowering, confidence-boosting expression while having tons of fun while getting fit!
As part of the Fit For a Goddess experience, dance poles are incorporated in addition to sexy strength-building exercises. In recent years, they have rediscovered that climbing and playing on poles does not need to be reserved for firemen, children on playgrounds, nightclub dancers, or gymnasts. In preparation for their classes, put on sexy workout clothes that are comfortable and stretchy. If you are planning on doing more pole work, you should wear shorts because that exposed skin can help you hold on to the pole! When it comes to the pole, it is imperative that you do not wear lotion on any part of your body the day of class. Body oils and lotion will ruin your pole workout. They can also cause damage to the poles and be a safety issue for you.
