Those who have ever seen a pole artist will understand why pole fitness has become the latest workout craze! Exercise with poles is a cardio workout that uses your body weight as resistance.
The muscles you didn’t even know you had will be worked in every class! Poling involves dance (which, as we all know, can make us sweat), climbing, and even inversions. To prepare for the advanced moves, The Pole Academy requires you to prepare your body before daring to attempt the bolder moves.
Despite the fun of this type of workout, safety must always come first! It is important to the instructors that you feel comfortable while poling since we know everyone is different in many ways. Stretching and warming up the body is vital before any sport or cardio activity. Their classes include a movement component to help loosen up tight muscles. The biceps, quads, hamstrings, neck, and many other muscles can be stretched to prevent injury.
While the Pole Academy focuses on pole fitness, it is important not to overlook the other factors that contribute to an overall healthy lifestyle. Pole fitness is an excellent addition to any regular exercise program and diet. Their team is also available to assist you with any diet & nutrition needs you may have during the duration of your membership.
